BruinBus will be welcoming students back to campus with the return of U3 and all other regular routes beginning Monday, January 31.
The U3 Weyburn/Gateway Plaza route will run weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. approximately every 30 minutes. U1 Weyburn and U2 Wilshire will run approximately every 30 and 15 minutes respectively, with additional service available on Santa Monica Big Blue Bus (BBB) Route 17 for U1 and Route 2 for U2.
Eligible Bruins can get a free quarterly transit pass to ride BBB with our Bruin Commuter Transit Benefit. Graduate students also have unlimited access to BBB with the Bruin Grad Pass. Those not eligible for either program can purchase the BruinGO! pass or UCLA Co-Pay.
The U4 University Apartments route will continue for Bruins living in off-campus apartments. And the combined evening U5/SafeRide Loop will provide service from Wilshire Center to the Hill from 6:30 p.m. to 10:10 p.m.
UCLA SafeRide also provides on-demand rides that can be requested Monday through Thursday from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. (excluding holidays and breaks). Rides can be booked using the TripShot app available for download from Google Play or the App Store.
BruinBus and UCLA SafeRide service is ADA compliant and wheelchair accessible. In addition, UCLA Transportation offers the complimentary BruinAccess paratransit service for qualified Bruins during academic weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. BruinAccess rides can also be booked on-demand using the TripShot app.
