Step 1: Complete the Bike Index registration form
Gather the following information about your device: model, color, year, and serial number. You'll need this information to register.
By completing the Bike Index registration form, you attest that you have reviewed all applicable traffic laws for your device, as well as campus safe riding and parking guidelines. If you plan to charge and/or store your device in a campus building, you also confirm that the device and all related charging equipment (including built-in or removable batteries, power cords, and chargers) are certified to UL standards. Furthermore, you agree to follow all safe charging, storage, and usage guidelines to mitigate any fire risk.
Step 2: Pick up your Bike Index registration sticker
Have your device verified in person. You will need to bring your device to the UCLA Transportation office at 555 Westwood Plaza for verification. Once complete, a registration sticker will be affixed to your device. This in-person process should take no more than 15 minutes.
Appointments are required. Walk-ins will not be accepted.
