If you are a student currently on the lookout for a great campus job, this is the place for you. As a BruinAccess Paratransit Driver, your role will be to help provide necessary transportation to students, faculty, and staff with mobility issues around campus and to adjacent residential areas.

Responsibilities of the position: performing pre-trip safety inspections, safely driving the vehicle you are assigned, which includes operating the wheelchair lift apparatus, and maintaining a clean van. Attending department meetings is also part of the job.

To qualify as a student driver, you’ll need a current California Class C driver’s license — with the ability to obtain a Class B license — and need to pass a pre-employment background check. Knowledge of the campus and surrounding areas is a plus.
