Want to give an abandoned bicycle a new home while supporting biking at UCLA? Bid on one of four bikes in our online auction now through May 31.
Like the ones offered on Bike Recycling Day, these bikes have been abandoned or impounded on campus. However, their appraised values are above what can be given away for free per campus policy. The proceeds from the auction will help fund the bike programs at UCLA to make biking better for Bruins.
To place a bid, participants must first register for an account with GovDeals.com. The auction closes on Wednesday, May 31, at 4:00 p.m. Bikes are sold as-is and all sales are final.
Winning bidders must email bike-info@ts.ucla.edu to schedule an appointment for pick up during business hours (9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Monday through Friday). If a bike is not scheduled for pick up within 30 days of the auction closing, the bike will return to UCLA Transportation for a future auction.
