Public transit agencies that serve UCLA are making service adjustments this summer. Here's what you need to know, and remember that facial coverings are still required while riding public transit.
LA Metro
New schedules start this Sunday, June 27, with trips being added on the busiest bus lines. Check for changes to your line on Metro's online tool. Front door boarding will also be resuming on June 27, with riders being encouraged to TAP when boarding. Our Go Metro pass comes preloaded on a UCLA TAP card and provides unlimited rides on Metro bus and rail lines.
Santa Monica Big Blue Bus
Beginning Monday, July 12, Big Blue Bus will no longer accept cash and tokens on board. Customers will be required to make contactless fare payments with TAP or a mobile ticket instead of cash and tokens. Our BruinGO! pass comes preloaded on a UCLA TAP card and provides unlimited rides on both Santa Monica Big Blue Bus and Culver CityBus.
BruinBus
BruinBus is currently operating the U901 Summer Loop running Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., with stops every 15 minutes. The U4 University Apartments route is also available on a summer schedule running Monday through Thursday until July 29.
