Put Driving Aside This Winter With Specially Discounted Transit Passes from UCLA

discounted winter quarter transit pass

Dodging traffic congestion and parking costs just got easier for winter quarter as UCLA will again be offering special pricing on its already subsidized transit passes. Travel effortlessly and even more affordably starting this December into the new year.

Fall quarter's transit pass program promotions continue for both the local and commuter line passes this winter.

With the lower-priced Go Metro pass, ride LA Metro bus and rail lines, plus enjoy unlimited rides on Santa Monica Big Blue Bus (BBB) and Culver CityBus (CCB)— at no extra cost. If you only need to ride BBB and CCB, go for the BruinGO! pass. Metro will resume fare collection on January 10, 2022, so plan ahead by purchasing your pass now.

And starting December 12, Go Metro will also be good for a trip with Metro Micro, the on-demand rideshare service expanding to UCLA, Westwood, and the VA Medical Center.

Winter quarter's promotional pricing also applies to passes for LADOT Commuter Express, Santa Clarita Transit, Antelope Valley Transit Authority, and Long Beach Transit. Skip those high gas prices for the budget-friendly way to travel.

Never taken transit with a UCLA pass? You're in luck! With the Bruin Commuter Transit Benefit, eligible faculty, staff, and students can apply for a free quarterly transit pass on us.

UCLA transit pass holders who do not live in a residence hall or Weyburn Terrace are also entitled to daily discounted parking on occasions when they may need to drive in.

Take some stress out of the season when it comes to commuting or just cruising around SoCal. Passes purchased now will be good from December 27 through March 20, 2022. Sales will continue until March 6, 2022, but don't miss the bus with these special deals for winter quarter. Purchase your pass online today!
