With the number of COVID-19 cases at their highest levels in LA County, testing is critical to slow the spread of the virus. To make it easier for the UCLA community to get tested, the UCLA Mobile Testing Bus has been bringing tests directly to Bruins who are living or working locally.
Since the mobile testing bus first launched in November, more than 4,800 tests have been conducted in support of the University's COVID-19 mitigation efforts. The UCLA Mobile Testing Bus operates weekdays at locations including graduate housing complexes and Wilshire Center. Testing is free for students, faculty, and staff with an active BruinCard, and is quick and painless by using a self-administered nasal swab. Results arrive within 24-36 hours via text or email.
The UCLA Mobile Testing Bus is made possible through a partnership between the Arthur Ashe Student Health & Wellness Center and UCLA Transportation. For information on hours and locations or to schedule an appointment, please visit the Ashe Center’s website.
