Metro's Board of Directors recently approved the NextGen plan opens a new window to restructure Metro's bus system, which will increase the frequency of buses, improve service on most routes, and put more buses in areas with the greatest demand.
Nearly three years in the making, the NextGen plan will be implemented in stages beginning in December, with most of the changes occurring in June 2021. Prior to any service changes, Metro will notify riders online and with signage.
