Most of the UCLA community takes BruinBus to get around campus during the week, but it also offers supplemental services in additional to its regular weekday routes. Here are some of the BruinBus services you may not know about.
UCLA SafeRide
For Bruins that need to get around at night, UCLA SafeRide provides complimentary transportation between campus buildings, on-campus housing, and nearby residential areas. The SafeRide Loop operates concurrently with the U5 route, providing service from Wilshire Center to the Hill from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. approximately every 40 minutes. Live bus tracking can be viewed on the real-time map or the TripShot app, available for download from Google Play or the Apple Store.
BruinAccess
BruinAccess is a complimentary paratransit service for qualified Bruins during academic weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. UCLA Transportation works in collaboration with the UCLA Center for Accessible Education (CAE) and Disability Management Services for Staff & Faculty to determine eligibility for the service. On-demand rides provide curb-to-curb service and can be booked using the TripShot app. For more information on eligibility and how to book a ride, visit the BruinAccess page.
Rooter Bus
Whether it's football or baseball season, enjoy every Bruin home game without the hassle of driving and parking, especially at the Rose Bowl! BruinBus offers convenient transportation from campus to the Rose Bowl or Jackie Robinson Stadium for all home games. For football games, the first bus departs 2½ hours prior to kick-off and the last bus departs 2 hours prior. For more information visit the BruinBus page.
Westwood Village Weekend Bus
Students can take BruinBus to Westwood Village on Saturdays and Sundays with the Westwood Village Weekend Bus. The shuttle picks up at De Neve Plaza and Hedrick Hall and drops off at Tiverton and Le Conte next to Ralphs Market. For the Westwood Village Weekend Bus schedule visit the BruinBus page.
BruinBus Charter and Driver Services
Take the hassle out of chartering your event! BruinBus provides a variety of charter and driver services to UCLA departments and registered student organizations.
