Departmental Commute Coordinator

General Resources

In addition to the training and support you will receive from Bruin Commuter Programs, we encourage you to reference the following resources available to efficiently address and administer the majority of employee-related parking needs.

To become a commute coordinator, the Department Security Administrator (DSA) of your department must add the TSCOORD function to your DACSS account. Once your status has been updated, send an email to pcoordinator@ts.ucla.edu to sign up for training along with your preferred date. Training sessions are held on Zoom and are on Tuesdays from 9:00-10:00 a.m. and Thursdays from 2:00-3:00 p.m.

The Commute Coordinator Signature Authorization Form only needs to be filled out and submitted if you will be a commute coordinator for a department you are not paid out of.

To remove coordinator access, contact the DSA to remove the TSCOORD function from the coordinator's DACSS account.

New quarter allotments will be rolled over and pre-populated with the customers currently allotted to the active quarter spaces.* Commute Coordinators will have access to the new quarter allotments beginning at 5 p.m. on the "New Quarter Allotment Availability" date. Commute Coordinators will still be able to remove/add customers in their quarter allotments before permits are available for purchase.

*Some Specialty Allotment Groups will not prepopulate previously assigned customers because of their status in the parking system.
