Parking Structures 4 and 7 Updates

Special Notice for Parking Structure 4 and 7 Parking 

Please be aware that some elevators in Parking Structure 7 were damaged during the LADWP flood, and are expected to be closed for repairs through Mid-November. These elevator closures are notated on the accessibility layer of the interactive campus map. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Parking Structure Availability
All parking structures, including 4 and 7, are fully operational and open to students, staff and faculty permit holders.
Parking Permit or Prox Card Replacements:
If your parking permit or prox card was damaged from the flood, you may receive a free replacement by visiting the Transportation Office or by sending an email to pcoordinator@ts.ucla.edu to have it mailed to you. Our office hours are 7:45am-5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Until you have received the replacement permit/prox card, please continue to visit the Parking and Information Booths (K2 or K6) to obtain a temporary permit/prox card.

Vehicle Retrieval
Vehicles parked in Parking Structures 4 or 7 that were affected by the Sunset Blvd. water main break were relocated to a secured area for retrieval by vehicle owners. Those who have not received information regarding their vehicles should contact UCLA Parking Programs Monday through Friday 8am-5pm at (310) 206-3884 or email at news@ts.ucla.edu.

Vehicles relocated to Lot 36 not retrieved by 5pm Thursday, August 7th, were relocated to the portion of Structure 4 which is reopening August 11th.

Vehicles relocated to the Veterans Administration (VA) area next to Jackie Robinson Stadium (see map),100 Constitution Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90095 may retrieve their vehicle now through 4pm Thursday, August 14th, by contacting UCLA Parking Programs 8am-5pm Monday through Friday at (310)206-3884. Those who are out of town and unavailable to personally retrieve their vehicle in this time frame and have Automobile Physical Damage/Comprehensive coverage for their vehicle are urged to contact their insurance provider as soon as possible so that their insurance provider can retrieve their vehicle.

If someone other than the registered vehicle owner or insurance provider needs to pick up the vehicle, the owner must provide the authorized individual with a statement signed and dated by the owner with the authorized individual’s name and the vehicle license plate number (or VIN # if the vehicle is new and/or has no plates), which they must bring to the pick up location along with their own photo ID.

Loans
The campus has set up loan assistance programs for UCLA students and employees whose vehicles were damaged in the flood. Students and employees in need of emergency loans should fill out the form located at http://www.sustain.ucla.edu/flood/emergency-relief-survey/.

Filing a Claim
For vehicles which sustained damage during the LADWP water main break, it is recommended that those who have Automobile Physical Damage/Comprehensive coverage for their vehicles contact their insurance provider to expedite the claims process. For those who do not have Automobile Physical Damage/Comprehensive coverage, or wish to file a claim directly against the LADWP, a claim form must be filed with LADWP.
