No. The UC Police Officer who issues the citation will be the first to determine whether the alleged violation is eligible for the BruinBikeSmart program. You must agree to the terms of the program when the citation is issued.

You can begin to take the course five business days after the issuance date of the citation.

Partakers are eligible once every 12 months after the date of your last citation.

The course must be completed within 30 calendar days from the date the citation was issued.

The course takes approximately one hour to complete.
