Summer Access to Campus

Parking on campus is limited and not guaranteed. Please plan your commute in advance with UCLA Transportation's commuter programs, which offers discounted public transit passes, bicycle incentives, and vanpool programs. For more information, you can chat with a customer service representative through UCLA Transportation’s new Live Chat from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.

A limited number of individual summer permits are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis (carpool permits are not sold during summer quarter). Registered students may choose one of the following options: Purchase a permit for the parking periods below, forgo a permit and pay the daily rate, or utilize the self-service pay stations.

*The summer quarter permit covers 8-week, 9-week, 10-week and 2nd summer (Session C).  Parking fees are prorated based on the effective date of the permit.

Instructions to Apply for Registered and Non-Concurrent Students

The first day to apply for summer parking is May 1, 2018, at 10 a.m.

Summer Session A (first session) permits will be available for online sales starting May 1, 2018.

Applications are accepted until September 7, 2018.

Registered students must apply online starting May 1, 2018, at 10 a.m. through September 7, 2018. You must have a valid MyUCLA account to access the online application. Acceptable methods of payment to complete the transaction include Visa, MasterCard, Discover, American Express, and E-Check. 

Non-concurrent students must apply in person with a printed and completed Summer Parking Application and a valid UCLA or state identification. Only cash payment is accepted and can be made at the Parking Services Office, 555 Westwood Plaza, Suite 100, Los Angeles, CA 90095.

Permits purchased by May 25, 2018, will be available for pick-up or will be mailed on May 29, 2018. Permits purchased on or after May 29, 2018, will need two business days for processing, and availability will be based on the selected delivery method.

Important information: To avoid additional fees when selecting mail for your delivery method, please confirm that your mailing address is complete and make any corrections before completing your transaction. Your permit will take 7-14 calendar days to arrive. If you chose to have your permit mailed, and the permit and gate card are lost/stolen, you will be responsible to pay a $45 replacement fee for each product.

Parking Services assumes no responsibility for delivery by the U.S. Post Office.
